Rainbow Photography Art

RAINBOW PHOTOGRAPHY

Today my dad let me and my brother use his camera to take photos of things that were the colours of the rainbow.

The grass is green.                            The pencil is orange.                    The flowers are pinkish red.

These flowers are yellow                The towel is indigo.                      My drink bottle is cyan.

Sonic the Hedgehog is dark blue.        The soccer ball is red.

  1. Hi Reuben,
What a good idea. It's so colourful and I lovely the way you presented it.

I wonder if you were collaborating with your brother over the use of dad's camera. Good clear photos Rueben and your presentation was well done. I liked the way you have used coloured text to emphasis the colour word. From Mrs A

  4. This is a really cool activity Reuben - creative! I also like how you used the word cyan instead of 'light blue' and indigo for purple - sophisticated. I agree with the comments above, you have effective layout on the photos and changing the colours of the words was a nice touch. A good eye for colour and design here.
I'm interested what you thought of the differences between taking photos using a camera vs on a phone...
I've stopped using my large Canon camera (even though it's really nice) because it's just so bulky. Which do you prefer?

  5. Goodness me, Reuben, you have been busy doing some fabulous work while in Lockdown. I do love the photographs that you have taken to illustrate your work. You are very good using the camera but that is not a surprise to David and me as I know you have used your Dad's camera to take other pictures previously. I also have some pictures that you took of yourself, using my mobile, when you were much younger. I wonder if you might enjoy more photography as a hobby, as your grow older?
